Wisconsin Barn Wedding Packages

Our Wisconsin Barn Weddings can be dressed up or dressed down to match the style and decor of your celebration. Wedding celebrations held in our Elegant Barn can be scheduled from Mid-May until Mid-October and include a choice of many outdoor ceremony sites on our 200-acre hilly property. In case of rain, host your ceremony inside our Elegant Barn. The Studio (the first floor of our Elegant Barn) is a four-season heated and cooled space that can be rented any day of the year.

Justin Trails Resort is a great meet-in-the-middle location: 8 miles south of Sparta, 6 miles from Sparta Exit 25 on I-90, and 30 minutes from the airport in La Crosse. There are 3 major hotels within 10 minutes: Best Western, Country Inn & Suites and Super 8. Our resort is in the country where it is peaceful and kiddos can play safely yet we are only 8 miles from Sparta.

For Saturday Weddings, we require that you book resort lodging Friday and Saturday night for total privacy, intimacy and plenty of room to spread out. Onsite lodging is available for 26 guests. Guests typically pay for their own lodging. Beer and wine must be purchased through Justin Trails Resort. Rental of our Elegant Barn and grounds for your Wedding Weekend includes the following package options:

Aspen Package: 150 – 200 Guests

$5000 ($6000 September & October) + Beer & Wine
Book lodging Friday & Saturday night (guests usually pay for their own lodging approximately $4500)
Rentals: up to 200 Padded Deluxe Chairs, 25 Round Tables, Six 8-foot tables
Take down approximately 7 Tables and 50 Chairs for Dance
Take down Tables, Chairs and Cleanup

Birch Package: 100 – 125 Guests

$5000 ($6000 September & October) + Beer & Wine
Book lodging Friday & Saturday night (guests usually pay for their own lodging)
Rehearsal dinner the night before
Decorate the day before
Rentals: up to 150 Padded Deluxe Chairs, 20 Round Tables, Five 8-foot tables
Take down approximately 7 Tables and 50 Chairs for Dance
Take down Tables, Chairs and Cleanup

Cedar Package: Under 100 Guests

$4000 ($5000 September & October) + Beer & Wine
Rehearsal dinner the night before
Decorate the day before
Book lodging Friday & Saturday night (guests usually pay for their own lodging)
Rentals: up to 100 Padded Deluxe Chairs, 13 Round Tables, Four 8-foot tables

Cherry Package: Micro-Wedding 50 - 100 Guests

$3000 + Beer & Wine
Decorate the day before
Rehearsal dinner the night before
Social time and dance finishes by 10:00 pm
Rent at least one cabin or suite for 2 nights
Rentals we provide: up to 100 Padded Deluxe Chairs, 13 Round Tables, Four 8-foot tables

Dogwood Package: Micro-Wedding Up to 100 Guests

$2500 + Beer & Wine
Social time and dance finishes by 10:00 pm
Rent at least one cabin or suite for 2 nights
No rehearsal dinner
Decorate the same day
Rentals we provide: up to 100 Padded Deluxe Chairs, 13 Round Tables, Four 8-foot tables

Lilac Package: Micro-Wedding Up to 50 Guests

$2000 + Beer & Wine
Social time and dance finishes by 10:00 pm
Rent at least one cabin or suite for 2 nights
No rehearsal dinner
Decorate the same day
Rentals we provide: up to 50 Padded Deluxe Chairs, 7 Round Tables, Four 8-foot tables

Marriage License

Must be 18 years old or 16 with parental consent.
Apply at least 4 calendar days before your marriage but not more than 60.
Social Security numbers (if you have them).
Can reside in any state and apply for a marriage license in Wisconsin.
Go to any county to a County Clerk’s Office in Wisconsin and apply for the license.
Must have a Certified English Birth Certificate.
Current photo ID (Driver’s License, anything you can use for voting purposes)
Proof of residency the date you come into the County Clerk’s Office (driver’s license, utility bill, rent receipt – something with your current address)
Previous Marriages – must have Divorce or Death Decree.
Monroe County charges $75 for Marriage License. Pay by cash or check. Debit or credit cards not accepted.
$25 additional fee if you need to waive the 4 day waiting period. Waiving the waiting period can only be approved by the County Clerk.
The Monroe County, County Clerk Office is open 8 – 11:30 Monday -Friday by appointment only.
Must know the County and the City, Village or Township you currently reside in. (Rural addresses have fire numbers, this will have your Township information).

Both parties must be present.

Not mandatory – correct spelling of Name of Officiant, Address and Phone Number.
Officiant can drop off completed Marriage License at any Register of Deeds Office in Wisconsin.
